We’ve never done this before! If you have a high school senior daughter, Lee is hosting a LIVE event to teach them the things they need to know before senior year begins. We are covering the things college counselors don’t, but are so important to know for long term social, academic and professional success. Share with your friends and register now if you have a senior daughter!

What will girls learn on this ZOOM?
So much! Including:
- The importance of building a great reputation senior year. What it means to build (and protect) a great reputation both in real life and online- and why it matters for sorority recruitment, internships, job references, dating and more.
- What it looks like to have a personal brand for college applications and sorority recruitment. Along with social media do’s and don’ts senior year!
- Etiquette for this exact season of life. Graduation parties, overnight visits with college girls, grad gifts, thank-you notes, dating, traditions, and how to move through all of it with grace and thoughtfulness.
- The manners every young lady should know by 18. We’ll cover all the ladylike manners they should know by the time they are 18 so moms can ensure their daughters are ready for this next stage of life!
- The social skills that will make them stand out in their generation. They will have a leg up in life if they know these things!
- Encouragement for maintaining their values and steadiness. Because senior year gets loud, we will remind them of what’s most important senior year and how to keep a God-centered perspective and avoid comparison through the stressful application process.
Why senior girls?
For the past few years, DoSayGive’s Senior Year Survival Guide has helped moms of girls and boys navigate their seniors final year of high school – the deadlines, the transitions, the preparing them to be adults and launching them successfully. Through this process, so many moms have asked Lee to talk directly to their seniors. We are starting off with senior girls!
Poised & Prepared is DoSayGive’s answer to that request with a live Zoom event where Lee, a mom of four daughters and an etiquette expert speaks directly to senior girls themselves. A real, live, heart-to-heart encouraging conversation that will prepare them for successful senior year and transition into adulthood!
Why does my daughter need this?
Because at this age, it’s helpful to have like-minded voices echoing what you are trying to do at home (and maybe even cover the things you forgot to!).
Because there’s a whole set of social skills that many in her generation lack, but that are essential for long term social, academic and professional success.
Because girls need to hear that the reputation they build in high school will follow her straight into college – and into sorority recruitment – with her. How she interacts with people (from friends’ parents to freshman girls she visits on campus tours) and how she conducts herself at senior events can have long-term consequences, positive or negative.
Because you want your daughter to walk with confidence and poise into this next phase of life and know – as we say at DoSayGive – how to be lovely and gracious in everything she does, says, and gives!
Why before senior year?
You don’t want to wait until the summer before move-in to have these important conversations. By spring semester, seniors already have one foot out the door. We think speaking to girls now, while they are hungry for information on this next phase of life, is key. Plus, the skills Lee teaches are ones they can practice and hone all year so they are ready for freshman year!
Can moms join?
We’d love this to be just for girls and the comfort level that comes with that. But moms aren’t left out completely: after the event, Lee will send a private recap along with real conversation starters so the talk doesn’t end when the Zoom does. It keeps going all year long.
What if my daughter can’t make the live zoom?
Still register her! We will send the replay the following day!
My daughter is going to be a college freshman. Can she join?
Yes! She can still learn so much and it will give her a boost before she heads off to school.
